FULL-TIME CHEF (INDIAN CUISINE )
Mocambo Bar and Eatery, situated in the heart of Auckland City, is seeking a serious Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef in leading a passionate and professional culinary team.You will be at the heart of a new culinary adventure. Alongside the Executive Chef you will be creating produce driven dishes with a solid technique.
The multifaceted nature of the business means your role is multifaceted too; a la carte and set menu dining, and fast food cuisine.
You will have a high level of cleanliness in your work and a commitment to quality. Excellent communication skills and a strong leadership approach are essential for this role as well as the ability to oversee, train and get the best out of people every day!
You will have a creative and passionate approach when it comes to food and be willing to follow company direction and processes.
You will need to be an outside the box thinker and dedicated to finding new sources of sustainable delicious products, produce and techniques.

WAITER/WAITRESS/ DUTY MANAGERS
Mocambo Bar and Eatery, situated in the heart of Auckland City, is seeking part-time Duty Managers in leading a passionate and professional culinary teamTo assist and develop service & beverage ideas in addition to ensuring every customer walking through the doors is well taken care of with exceptional customer service.
The primary purpose of the Duty Manager is to lead an efficient, profitable, customer focused Front of House team. Duty Managers work alongside and support Management & our Kitchen team and to ensure all legal & company processes are met including Liquor Licencing, Health & Safety , Food Safety.
You are a leader, trainer and mentor to all the Front of House team.
Key Requirements of the role:
At least 2 years experience in a Duty Manager / Restaurant or Bar Manager role
Exceptional customer skills with a passion for pushing the boundaries
Proven leadership and communication skills managing small teams
Previous experience in achieving operational practices
Ability to empower team by passing on knowledge and experience
Hands on role during key service times – weekends and evenings included
Ability to follow and execute Liquor Licencing & Health & Safety plan and follow company procedures
High personal standards passed on to entire kitchen team.
